The Quezon Memorial Shrine at night puts up a spectacular display of lights. A mausoleum housing the remains of Manuel L. Quezon, the second President of the Philippines, and his wife, First Lady Aurora Quezon, it is located in Quezon City, former capital of the Philippines (1948–1976). The Shrine is inside a ellipse-shaped park bounded by a busy rotunda. Two pedestrian underpasses were built to provide safe entrance to the park that is a host to restaurants, shops and rides.
